We now have health care "reform".

What a fucking sad day for the once-glorious country living out its last years of freedom.

Alas, we need  the barbarians -- to remind the collective consciousness of the survivors that freedom is not just a word.

Bring forth Attila and get this sad charade over with.

PS. And also -- to everyone who ever uttered the words "let the rich people pay their fair share" -- fuck all of you.

Health care here is screwed up. And there are ways to fix it. Those ways, however, are the exact opposite of what our friends in Congress are ramming through our throats. There are things that can be done that don't cost a trillion dollars, don't increase taxes, don't put millions onto the rolls of already failing Medicaid, don't penalize people for not buying government-mandated insurance and don't put a government health commission between me and my doctor. It's a long conversation though, not for Monday morning :)
