yeah, this is pretty cool. sometimes i get a bout of this disease. the last one ended with ubuntu installed on my spare pc. i will admit though, that it was significantly cheaper ;)
Ubuntu is quite useless unless you actually work in that environment all the time. PC to TV makes sense cz I have a TV anyway, it is PC-ready and I sometimes wouldn't mind playing a game or two on a 50" plazma. Or watch a video, for that matter ;)
бебебе. i, actually, meant the genetic urge to do something technical from start to finish. anyway, most of these projects look much better on paper than in reality. to prove otherwise you will have to finally invite us and show the fruits of your labor :P
Not before I get all the furniture. Even though work has been finished, all the boxes and all the crap is up top. I need bookshelves with drawers below. Plus it all has to be washed of the plaster dust. So keep your alans on for now, I am quite anxious to get you motherfuckers in myself.
I disagree. These technical projects are a breeze. All you need is a Windows admin/Hardware enthusiast and a Linux admin and in no time you've got a fully working linux-based DVR :)
