I just thought that the way of the Lord, as is described everywhere, is the way of blind faith and obedience, yet the way of the Devil is the way of knowledge and choice. I'll take the latter any day...

The Lord's way is always good (supposedly) so you don't have to choose:) Yes, the choice is made for you what is good, but it is still your choice to follow. It is complicated:)
