Just watched the beginning of Real Time With Bill Maher.

I don't know why I still do it now that a good comedian has degenerated into a political pundit, but that's not the point.

On his panel he had the usual threesome -- two lefties and a token conservative dude from The Wall Street Journal. One of the lefties was non other than Rep. Maxine Waters from California. Yep, the same "We do not have a crisis at Freddie Mac and particularly at Fannie Mae," and "the GSEs have exceeded their housing goals" Maxine Waters (from the 2004 congressional hearings into Fannie and Freddie).

Bill asked if this race is over. The conservative dude said it isn't because McCain could come back with (something). The other lefty also said no, it's not over, because there are all kinds of "shenanigans" Reps could pull, including voter fraud.

And of course the conservative dude mentioned ACORN (he couldn't remember what it stood for, prompting the Honorable Maxine Waters to snap "Well if you don't know what it is, you shouldn't be talking about it" to the thunderous applause of the brain-dead audience). And he said ACORN, an ultra-liberal outfit, has been caught red-handed registering dead people, fake people with addresses of fast food joints and even the entire Dallas Cowboys team (this report hit CNN wire last night).

To the conservative dude's mentioning the Honorable Rep Waters simply said "You have no proof of this". This is after CNN rolled video on this, with details, and ACORN reps not being reachable anywhere.

Ohhh.

PS. You should see how liberals all over the place scramble to explain that there is little wrong with this, this is just registration fraud, not voter fraud, because some canvassers pad their stacks...if Republicans pulled this shit, they'd be crucified (after the 2000 Florida crap).
