The MTA must be losing its fucking marbles. And all for $48,000.

I am for free speech. Including my enemy's free speech. But MTA is a public organization, and using it for religious purposes is not proper (for anyone).

Plus, running these ads during a 9/11 anniversary is very bad taste.
