Wilma: lowest recorded pressure in the Atlantic

Hurricane Wilma:

A U.S. Air Force reconnaissance plane measured maximum sustained winds of 175 mph, with higher gusts, the U.S.
National Hurricane Center said.

The plane also recorded a minimum pressure of 882 millibars, the lowest value ever observed in the Atlantic basin.

Нормальное атмосферное давление -- 1013 миллибар (101кПа). Во время недавних недельных дождей в NYC давление упало на 21 всего, до 992 миллибар (дождь шёл неделю, и все вокруг валялись -- кто в спячке, кто с головными болями).

А там внутри "глаза" -- 882, т.е. ещё на 100 меньше...
