cryowizardI didn't know this organization existed, but I am glad it does. Apparently, some people are indeed fed up with what's going on with civil liberties (or lack thereof) at our universities, and are fighting back.
Enter FIRE - Foundation for Individual Rights in Education.
They take the fight to the university administrators across the country, speaking up for students and their rights to due process, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience and freedom of religion. From what I see the organization does not appear partisan but rather centered on pursuing the letter and spirit of the US Constitution, something our "educators" would rather forget exists.
