Music file tagging
Apr. 9th, 2007 11:52 amSpent all day yesterday normalizing, tagging and reorganizing my music collection.
Found a good tool to do it -- Dr.Tag Plus from AspectOne. Besides flexible and useful ID3 tagging tools, Dr Tag has format converters which helps immensely, as well as templatized directory/file restructuring and renaming based on tags. It also has CD ripping/writing, freedb access and other goodies. You get get away with using a trial version, but I bought mine (27$) -- supported the Serbian economy (all developers are from there, distribution is via a German outlet).
My collection is not very big, only 17G, and that includes some stuff I am not sure I want to keep...
