Wow, dude, you are wrong on this one. I mean no sarcasm at all, since I happen to harbor sysadmin tendencies myself :) Plus, most sysadmins I met during my career were very nice and knowledgeable people (and a few were fucking superstars, for all I could tell).

I have dealt with some excellent admins as well (no doubt many of them the same guys you are talking about) but have always found them in their best element when they are the most... well... затраханы. Which is not something to congratulate somebody with.

In general sys-administration in my mind is most closely associated with a lot of firefighting and yelling users.
