MTA жжот. Точнее, не жжот.

С ветерком и real feel температурой -14 градусов, приятно в семь утра зайти с продуваемой насквозь брайтонской платформы в подошедший поезд...с включённым на всю катушку кондиционером!!!

Ледяной гроб, сукнахбл!!!

Ну не хватает же зла на этих долбоёбов!!

Мало было, значицца, просто не включать отопление. Надо ещё кондиционерчик включить на полную, чтобы жизнь раем не казалась. Спасло меня только то, что на мне было два свитера и thermals.

If it's cold outside, it makes no sense to turn heat on inside the train - everyone will just be standing there sweating...so they try to balance the temperatures around you - your desired body temperature is equal to the heat generated by your clothes plus the temperature outside. Since your desired body temperature and the heat generated by your clothes are constant, they try to maintain the same outside temperature.

Sooooo, since you'll be calling the superintendant anyway, you might as well go ahead and thank him/her for being so thoughtful.
