Unfortunately, the Republicans have completely sold out. This isn't new. Plus, during the last twenty years, the Republican party became "Party Of God" which is scary as hell. The original conservative ideas of low taxes, small government and enterpreneural freedom have been almost completely abandoned, and the country will pay for this dearly.
Having said this, the fact that "neo-con" crowd is full of shit doesn't make the above-mentioned issue any less idiotic, and as far as that particular issue is concerned, it is the liberals who are pushing the envelope.
Dont tell me that talking about "mom" and "dad" as something "offensive" or "discriminatory" is normal. It isn't.
This is an issue of common sense. And can't stand liberals for pushing this crap onto the country just as much as I can't stand "neo-cons" for pushing God and Creationism into the classroom.
