Supreme Court agreed to look over McDonald v Chicago -- that is, to see whether DC v Heller applies to the states.
Since the same people (sans the affirmative action Justice Sotomayor) decided DC v Heller, there is a good chance they will overturn handgun ban in Chicago.
And it will be great for the country.
Once this happens -- listen to the wind: the screaming of the Chicago Mayor Daley and the rest of the anti-gun liberal crowd scream bloody murder. Literally -- they will tell you from the tallest tower that once guns are allowed in people's homes, torrents of blood will wash Chicago away...
Docket: 08-1521
Title: McDonald, et al. v. City of Chicago
Issue: Whether the Second Amendment is incorporated into the Due Process Clause or the Privileges or Immunities Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment so as to be applicable to the States, thereby invalidating ordinances prohibiting possession of handguns in the home.
