From a research report on VIP, a Russian telecom:
The telco has inked a deal with Apple, Inc. to launch the 3G model of iPhone in Russia later in the year. This deal should fetch significant gains for the telco in a country inhabited by gizmo-freaks and a mobile penetration exceeding 100%.

Incredible volatility and double the market data volumes, crapping systems out all over the place like dominos...NASDAQ itself fell behind...nuts.
PS. May the Lord smiteth the assholes who come up with the mandatory 30-day holding period on equities purchases for full time employees (even the public side). I could have made a ton of money in this insanity. (grinds his teeth)
