Google maps rule
Jul. 31st, 2008 12:45 amThey have added terrain option to the maps so you could see the proper relief maps with elevations, peaks, mountain passes and, most importantly, well-known hiking trails.
This caused a bit of a nostalgia and I looked up the fantastic trip to Glacier National Park in Montana LK, LT and I did back in 2003. We crossed Triple Divide Pass, stayed at Morning Star Lake and then crossed Cut Bank Valley to climb Pitamakan Pass.
