cryowizardEver since the spring thunderstorms began, I have tried to capture a lightning strike. My windows face West so since most weather fronts in NYC come in from the West I usually get a front row view of the approaching line. This season I have spent hours snapping empty frames since most storms up to today were fairly weak.
But today the skies gave birth to this monster:
As I saw the approaching squall line I set the camera up and started snapping away.
And finally my patience paid off!
