Android 2.1 is out!

Updating my Droid right now (manually, don't wanna wait for OTA). A whole bunch of enhancements and patches, including (allegedly) pinch-to-zoom.

Ain't nothin' like watching a Linux shell work its magic on a fucking phone :)

Pinch-to-zoom does work, with Maps, at least. Couldn't get it to work with a browser, even though it's supposed to. Haven't tried the new and improved voice-to-text yet either. Nothing else seems to be revolutionary different.

From what I see p-n-z works on non-mobile web sites. Browser tends to get redirected to the mobile versions of everything so u have to work on it to get pinching. Oh well, I am more interested in system stability and battery life.
