Well, after a month of me not doing shit today my boss has handed me an assignment -- to help our sister team with building the connectivity gateway for their system, since I am the resident FIX/Connectivity expert who built the original BFG (no, not the gun, Bank FIX Gateway).

I guess my boss got tired of watching me stroll in at 10.15, try to reach the end of the Internet for the rest of the day, then leave at 6.

I will most certainly do the assignment (I have a month to complete something that takes a week).

But if they think I'm coming to the office earlier than 9.30 they are dead wrong.

Ain't I a rebel.
