He's saying Sharon got to the stroke because he was giving land to the Palestinians (and considers Sharon his friend, too!). If I had to guess, stress, fat and old age did the trick. This is in the same league as what he said earlier, that WTC got bombed because of America's tolerance of homosexuality.

In any case, he pretends to have the knowledge of what's in the mind of the Almighty. Even his fellow-conservative Chistians blasted his ass for saying stuff like this.

In more general sense, you know my aversion to extreme-right theology-driven dicision- and opinion-making. If it were up to him, we'd have an autodafe or two every weekend.

Я тут думал, что мне это все напоминает и таки вспомнил. Это мне напоминает комментарий Клуни по поводу болезни Хестона. По-моему тогда ни у кого не было сомнений в том что Клуни урод (их нет и сейчас). Однако теперь я на 100% согласен с Димкой. Робертсон точно такой же урод.
