Irish folk song

Those who have seen "Gangs Of New York" may remember a sliver of a song that is played while the Irish are stepping off the boats and are drafted right away into the Union Army. I liked the lyrics (you only catch a few moments of the song in the movie):

But when we got to Yankee-Land
They stuck a musket in me hands
Sayin' "Paddy, you must go and fight for Lincoln"

Apparently, it's a famous Irish song called Paddy's Lamentation. Sinead O'Connor does it, as do many Irish folk singers.

Full lyrics and an MP3 as performed by Gallowglass.
