Kerik has been indicted for tax fraud and corruption.

And of course, his sponsor and ex-boss Rudy immediately wrote him off saying he made a mistake with him. I understand why Rudy did this -- he can't be officially connected to an indicted person when he's running for President.

But that's politics for you -- yesterday's friends are tossed in a bin.

So sad.

He promoted an official who was later found out to be corrupt. Of course, it was a mistake to promote him. What does personal friendship has to do with it?!

The fact he had to say it on national TV is sad. I'm not saying he's wrong to think it was a mistake. But his presidential bid makes him go the extra mile and write the guy off on TV.
