Fantastic Cajun food in NYC -- The Delta Grill on 49th and 9th. Meat or seafood -- simply irresistible, all with Cajun spices and cooked in a way not easily found these days.
For the seafood lovers like myself -- stuffed mussels appetizer (special for yesterday), followed by seafood gumbo soup and then topped by catfish Lafitte...all with a few glasses of a nice Pinot...dear God, I haven't been this satisfied with a restaurant meal in ages.
Very highly recommend the place (it is surprisingly inexpensive for the quality - main course about $20).
