Altitudes of 1500-2200 meters.
Awesome alpine views.
Really bad weather.
Really good weather.
A close encounter with a bear.
Best views of The Milky Way ever.
Enough game steaks to last me a year.
1700 miles driven.
A van with a destroyed  front.
A dead elk.
No injuries.

And of course great company.

Yeah, this was a Western vacation alright.
